If you are heading to our family-friendly 5 star hotel in London for the half term break, read our tips for how to enjoy a top quality time in the capital.
If you want to indulge your little ones in an extra special treat this February half term, head to the Draycott, our luxury hotel in Chelsea, for a traditional Afternoon Tea experience. Dress up in your finest and enjoy a range of delectable cakes and sandwiches alongside a pot of tea (or a cool glass of Champagne, for parents of course) in our beautiful Edwardian setting for a taste of sophistication this half term. Once you have filled those tiny tummies with delicious fruit tarts and lemon drizzle cakes from our menu, and wiped the fruity jam off their sticky fingers, why not head to one of the wonderful attractions dotted around the local area?
Our favourite things to do in Chelsea:
Although we know little ones tend to enjoy nothing more than running around in the fresh air, unfortunately the British weather doesn’t always permit a trip to the park mid-February. Ensure half term success and book a trip to the Pottery Café to release your child’s inner Picasso by letting them paint a piece of pottery of their choice. A gorgeous keepsake and afternoon of fun.
Where? Fulham Road
When? All week (but book in advance to avoid disappointment)
If you reside in the city or are hoping to spend the entirety of the half term break at our 5 star hotel in London, why not book your little ones into a fine art class for a few days? Taught on an individual basis, all capabilities are welcome and your children will leave with a skill to last a lifetime.

Spend the afternoon getting to know mini-beasts, reptiles and their larger, hairier friends at Chelsea Physic Garden. Hold them – if you dare – and take the opportunity to ask questions the experts about their extraordinary habits and natural habitats.
