We have won the Boutique Hotels (BoHos) Guest Experience Award for ‘Best City Hotel’ in the 21 – 50 rooms category. The awards ceremony was held at The Montcalm Royal London House ahead of the Boutique and Lifestyle Hotel Summit and was attended by general manager Melissa Stoman.

Melissa said about the win, “We feel very honoured to have won this award as it came from our guests. Here at The Draycott, we try to continuously improve our service and to hear that guests are happy and enjoying the hotel truly means a lot. We will continue to strive for excellence and hope to provide nothing less.”

We are proud to have fought off stiff competition within our category, beating the likes of The Royal Park, London and B+B, Edinburgh to win the award. The awards, launched by Boutique Hotel News, in partnership with GuestRevu, and renowned hospitality management institution, Glion Institute of Higher Education, reward boutique, lifestyle and hybrid hotels who provide unforgettable guest service.

The awards are unique in that the traditional notion of judges has been overhauled and winners were decided by the hotels’ guests, using a combination of aggregated verified guest feedback from review sites and booking engines worldwide, and direct guest feedback via questionnaires. The BoHos aim to give a true picture of the guest experience provided by putting it in the hands of the people.

Hotels from around the world entered including Australia, South Africa and South Korea. Each hotel’s data was collated over two months and independently evaluated and ranked by Glion students and faculty.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our guests for your support, we wouldn’t have won this award without you.
