Candlelit Carols at Cadogan Hall
What could be more festive than spending an evening of carol singing accompanied by 18th-century outfits and a live orchestra.. You’ll be able to hear and join in with some of the most recognisable Christmas carols, such as, Good King Wenceslas, Once in Royal David’s City and O Come all ye Faithful. Winter Wonderland at Hyde Park
From now until 6th January 2019, Hyde Park has been transformed into a spectacular Christmas festival – Winter Wonderland. Filled with Christmas market stalls, themed park rides, the UK’s largest outdoor ice rink, numerous food and drink stalls, and a Father Christmas themed area called ‘Santa Land’. Winter Wonderland is one on the best Christmas events in London and is open from 10am to 10pm daily. Being only a 20 minute walk away from the hotel, this makes for a perfect event to attend this Christmas if you’re staying at the Draycott Hotel.
Hogwarts in the Snow at Warner Bros. Studios
Once again, the magic of J.K.Rowling’s spectacular wizarding world comes to life as Hogwarts at Warner Bros. Studios is transformed into a wintry and festive scene. A great day out for Harry Potter fans and those who aren’t, immerse yourself in the wonderful wizarding world of Harry Potter and Co. You can see the sets, costumes, props and even experience how the visual and special effects all came together to give the authenticity of the books. Open now and staying festively snowy until 27th of January 2019, Hogwarts in the Snow gives visitors a truly festive experience and a guaranteed great day out for the whole family.
Natural History Museum Ice Rink
Just a 20 minute walk from the hotel is one of the most iconic museums in the world; The Natural History Museum. Once again this year, part of the grounds of the museum will be transformed into a stunning wintry ice rink. Whilst there are other ice rinks in the city, it is here where you can enjoy the ice rink and visit three of London’s most iconic locations; The V&A, The Science museum and the Natural History museum.
